American Beauty Haul... So Far!

As many of you know I'm currently spending summer with my lovely boyfriend in L.A. at his parents house and of course I just had to make the most of all the beauty shops that the Americans are lucky to have! Let me tell you now, Sephora is i-n-c-r-e-dible! I've spent so much time in there that the boy has now banned us from going in *cries at remaining wish list*, anyway I thought I'd share with you the best of my beauty buys (so far!).

1. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla | 2. MAC Paint Pot in Constructivist | 3. Sephora Pro Brush #27 |
4. Origins Out Of Trouble 10 Minute Mask | 5. Estee Lauder Duo Eyeshadow in Vanilla Pod

1. So this concealer was something I'd been considering after reading many bloggers reviews of the stuff and I have to say its been worth every penny, or should I say dime! It's not too heavy coverage but has managed to hide blemishes as well as under eye bags.

2. MAC paint pots have been something of a mystery to me after never seeing them in action nor managing to swatch them in store (too busy distracted by their other products no doubt) but after watching a few blog tutorials that included it I thought I'd take the plunge. This is a must have for hotter climates as its stayed on perfectly all day & any eyeshadow I've layered on top, seriously impressed!

3. Whilst I know I'll very likely be investing in the MAC 217 brush once I get home I thought that this looked like a very good dupe from Sephora's 'Pro' collection, so far it's doing the job!

4. I've been wanting to dabble my foot in the Origins line for a while now but could never decide on which to try so due to sunscreen-on-face spots that keep appearing I thought this was probably the wisest move... after one use I could tell it had reduced the blemish or two that had started to appear & for $24 I can't complain at all! I think for winter I'll be looking into the Drink Up Intensive mask...

5. I'm pretty new to the eyeshadow game so haven't really ventured into more high end brands yet but getting this tax free in Vegas was an offer I couldn't refuse, both shades compliment each other and create a perfect day time eye. The angled brush has also come in handy along with the darker shade for filling in my brows, can't beat a bit of dual function can we?
