Motivation PLEASE!

So as like many of my friends just after Christmas I joined my University's gym hoping that by this time  I'd be rocking a bod like Mirander Kerr and Lucy Mecklenburg. Not so much. However it hasn't been a complete waste of money as I personally can see a difference, nothing life changing, but a slimming down in certain parts. My problem now is that I'm home for the summer (well I'll be in Los Angeles for 6 weeks of it) and in need of some easy work outs at home.

This is where I seriously lack motivation and need a kick up my butt! Dragging myself to the gym is motivation in itself as I've made the effort to get there so why not make the most of it. At home with a million distractions... not so much. I know so many people struggle with the same so I thought I'd give you links to two sites which help me get motivated!

  • Results With Lucy - This is Lucy Mecklenburg's Facebook page as her site hasn't yet opened and is full of little tips and tricks you can complete anywhere and anytime (even when your boyfriend's gone for a shower!) and make me feel a little less guilty about the bar of chocolate we devoured over a film...
  • Kayla Itsines - Okay, so this is an Instagram page as like Lucy her website is still being created but DON'T JUDGE! It isn't just a 'fitspiration' page like most out there now but she's a personal trainer who posts easy to do work outs that really do work. This is more for at home get-ready-to-get-sweaty workouts or it is for me anyway, I'm usually a sweaty mess at the end of these work outs.

I'd love it if you guys could recommend any other sites that help you get motivated to work out!

  2. Do not make excuse accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else. So step up and make sincere efforts to achieve your goals .

  3. A great way to workout is BLOGILATES, you can find her on youtube. Seriously, some crazy stuff up there but at least you'll feel great in your skin when you've finished yet another workout!
