In the form of these fellas (check out those teeth!)
Who liked to huddle in groups at the darkest parts of the walk through tunnel, truly giving a reason to fear the dark...
Before moving into the lighter parts, beckoned by some welcoming faces
These guys just laid over the glass on the tunnel just watching you walk beneath them.
Whilst others glided past minding their own business.
We then moved onto some smaller familiar faces... especially with a new film on the way, Mrs Blue I'm looking at you!
Just welcoming you in for a cuddle, although they should never be removed from the water as that kills them!
To some beautifully majestic but equally deadly creatures. I find the contrast between how delicate jellyfish are and the power of their poison so fascinating.
Unlike this guy who finds it utterly shocking!
Until finally we reached the king of the aquarium...
You can't gage his size from this photograph but we were absolutely taken aback by how big he was, so unbelievable.
The final installation was my favourite, I've always loved these funny little characters, films featuring them tapping their feet feature highly in my favourite Christmas films!
We got the 'Researcher' package for about 100Dhs which was worth every penny. If you're feeling extra adventurous and a bit spendy you can even go cage diving in the main tank with all the sharks! We saw people doing this as we were walking through and it looked like the ultimate adrenaline rush.
You can find the aquarium just outside of the Cheesecake Factory in one of the main atriums of the Mall of Dubai in Downtown Dubai.
